Habitat Restoration Day with Stewardship Partners

Join us in restoring fish and wildlife habitat along the Snoqualmie River! In partnership with Stewardship Partners, we will be planting native trees and shrubs to enhance salmon habitat and restore the riverbank.
We’ll provide light refreshments in the morning (coffee, pastries or granola bars, and water) and a pizza lunch at noon. Bring a full water bottle and a coffee cup or travel mug for refills.
How to prepare
Stewardship Partners will provide gloves, tools, water, volunteer supervision, info on Carnation Farms and an overview of the work volunteers will perform. We suggest you dress in layers (long pants, long sleeve shirt and a jacket). Sturdy footwear (work boots, mud boots, hiking boots) is recommended. Please bring rain gear if you have it and older clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty or muddy. An overview of the work, why it’s important and how to do it are provided. We’ll educate volunteers about the property and Stewardship Partners restoration efforts in the Snoqualmie Valley and our Adopt-a-Buffer program. We do not hold anyone to the full length of the event.
