Farm Dinner Series – Feast in the Field

July 19, 2025 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Come spend an unforgettable summer evening with us at Carnation Farms, where the fields are bursting with flavor and every bite has a story.

We’re hosting a special farm-to-table dinner, featuring pasture-raised lamb and beef from right here on the farm, just-picked organic veggies, and perfectly paired wines featuring guest Chef Sonya Cote from Store House in Bastrop, TX, and Chef Bleu Adams, director of IndigeHub.com.

You’ll kick off the night with a guided walk through the fields alongside our Director of Agriculture, Eric Popp—he’ll share how we grow and graze with care in the heart of the Snoqualmie Valley. Then, settle in at the table for a multi-course dinner crafted by our chefs and inspired by the season. This is your chance to meet the folks behind your food—our farmers, chefs, and local partners—and soak up the beauty of a long summer evening on the farm.

All in a gorgeous setting, great company, and stories from the farm. Come hungry, curious, and ready to connect.

Dinner will feature a set menu highlighting peak-season ingredients. Our guest chefs will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions when possible, but minimal substitutions may be available.

Bleu (Mandan/Hidatsa/Dine) is a Chef, a Restaurateur, and non-profit Director (IndigeHub.org) dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship and community building through Indigenous food sovereignty. She opened her first restaurant in 2011 with her brother, Chef Mark Daniel Mason. Black Sheep Cafe quickly gained a reputation for innovative dishes using indigenous foods and cultural practices. Bleu was one of the first Native American women to attend the James Beard Foundation’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program in 2017 and has served on various committees including the Native Women Entrepreneurs of AZ and the Black and Indigenous Food Fund. She was invited to join the American Culinary Corps in 2023, where she promotes Indigenous cuisine and culinary diplomacy globally.

Chef Sonya is a passionate advocate for the power of local ingredients, believing that fresh, locally-sourced produce not only enhances flavor but also nourishes the body and the environment. A trailblazer in Austin’s locavore movement, she’s made her mark with iconic establishments like Eastside Showroom, Hillside Farmacy, and Eden East. Now, in Bastrop, Texas—just 30 miles east of Austin—Sonya and her husband David, cultivate a vibrant 5-acre farm, only a mile from Store House Market & Eatery. Their seasonal harvest brings the true essence of farm-to-table dining straight to your plate.
